Michael was a proud US Navy veteran who served on the USS Enterprise for several years. Michael was born in Beth Page,NY. Michael played football, hockey and was a wrestler while at Kings Park high school. Michael was an avid NY Jets football fan, NY Mets baseball fan and NY Rangers hockey fan. Michael worked as a Chief Engineer for many years in NY and FL. Michael’s pride and joy was his 3 girls Tracy, Molly and Lily. Michael’s passion was working out and listening to his favorite music very loud while singing every word. Music was more than just his hobby it was a language a passion a way of how he connected with the world. Rolling Stones, Shinedown, The Marshall Tucker Band, and Pearl Jam to name a few. Lastly. it was important to Michael to carry on the tradition from his late parents to make Sunday sauce while sipping red wine listening to Frank Sinatra. Michael’s unexpected passing has caused a huge void in the hearts of his family and friends. In keeping with Michael’s generous spirit,his body was donated to United Tissue Network to further medical research and help others. The family of Michael wishes to extend an invitation to those who knew and loved him to a full military honors memorial service on Tuesday March 18,2025 at 12 noon at Calverton National Cemetary 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton,NY 11933

Survived by former wife Tracy Toncelli, daughter Liliana (Lily) Toncelli and former step daughter Molly Lessard. former brother in law Chris Lessard who all resided with Michael in South Pasadena,FL. Sisters Linda (Anthony) Castillo and Dina (Tommy) Shortell, niece Kristi (Stevie) Kevorkian, grand nephews Carter and Leo. Nephews, Anthony Castillo and grand nephew KJ, Nephews Thomas, Timmy and Kevin Shortell and preceded in death by his parents Dominick and Sara Toncelli all of Kings Park,NY.
