David Breedlove | President and CEO

David Breedlove serves as the President and CEO of United Tissue Network. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master in Business Administration from Arizona State University.

In his current role, David leads United Tissue Network’s operations by developing and managing strategic plans, and annual operative and capital budgets. He ensures the corporate vision and mission for United Tissue Network is focused on driving business growth through the development of strategic partnerships. His forward-looking vision includes succeeding in an evolving market with long-term goals that stay true to the company’s values and aid in advancing medical innovation.

Hal Wm. Ezzell | Vice President & General Counsel

Hal Wm. Ezzell is a Vice President and General Counsel of United Tissue Network, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Directors of United Tissue Network, Inc. Previously, he served as the Managing Member of Ezzell & Wadley, PLLC. His 22-year career has included practicing law in both large firm and small firm environments, as well as serving as a Manager in a “Big 5” public accounting firm (Arthur Andersen & Co.). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma (1993) and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law (1996).  Hal is an active Member of the Oklahoma Bar Association (admitted 1997) and a former Member of the State Bar of Texas (admitted 1996, voluntarily resigned as inactive on 2000).

Areas of legal practice include a general regulatory and administrative law practice, representing business organizations in all aspects of governance and transactions  and real estate with an emphasis in zoning, land use and development.

Paul Gillum, MD| Vice President & Medical Director/Physician Advisor

Dr. Gillum serves as the Medical Director and Physician Advisor of United Tissue Network. He earned his Bachelor of Science with distinction (Microbiology) from the University of Oklahoma, and his Doctoral Degree with outstanding distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, subsequently joining the faculty in the Departments of Dermatology and Pathology.

Through his 23 year medical career, Dr. Gillum has practiced Dermatology in a private setting and at the Universities of Oklahoma and Colorado, and acted as Medical Director of the Oklahoma Dermatopathology Institute. Dr. Gillum remains licensed in Oklahoma and Colorado. He continues his Dermatopathology practice and leads clinical trials as Principal Investigator / Sub-Investigator in the fields of Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Psychiatry. He is Board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology, and is a member of the American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association, American Society of Dermatopathology, and past president of the Oklahoma State Dermatological Society.

Ann Gettys Director of Laboratory Operations

Ann Gettys serves as the Director of Compliance and Training of United Tissue Network. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a Master of Science in Health and Exercise Science: Exercise Physiology from the University of Oklahoma. She has also completed 40+ hours of graduate-level work in Public Health and Health Administration and Policy from the University of Oklahoma School of Public Health. Ann brings over 10 years of college-level Human Physiology and Human Anatomy teaching experience to her role at UTN as well as, non-profit management experience.

In her current role, Ann provides direction and leadership of the company through policy enforcement, program planning, policy review and training development. Ann is responsible for ensuring all departments maintain strict adherence to the AATB standards.

Christine Rapisura | Director of Finance and Administration

Christine Rapisura serves as the Director of Finance and Administration at United Tissue Network. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State Stanislaus. Christine has over 15 years of experience in office management and human resources.

In her current role, Christine coordinates and supports office activities as needed. She manages United Tissue Network’s human resource and accounting departments. She oversees the new hire process, payroll, PTO, and benefit implementation. In the accounting department, she oversees invoicing, accounts payable, and client accounts, to ensure accuracy at all locations following company procedures. Christine works to establish procedures and guidelines for all administrative and accounting activities, so they may be cohesive across all of United Tissue Network locations.

Michael Sanchez National Laboratory Manager

Michael Sanchez serves as the National Laboratory Manager of United Tissue Network. He has earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Master of Science in Management. He has managed employees at remote sites and has implemented operational quality assurance and training programs successfully.

In his current role, Michael oversees daily operations at all United Tissue laboratory national sites and ensures all company policies and procedures are being followed across the board. He will provide management and guidance to all sites with the best possible quality of operations and adherence to the AATB standards.

Rachel Alcala Quality Manager

Rachel Alcala serves as the Quality Manager of United Tissue Network. She has earned a Bachelor of Science of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. Rachel brings over 20 years of experience working in FDA regulated industries.

In her current role, Rachel leads United Tissue Network’s quality management at all sites, which includes her focus on internal audits, systems management, vendor and supplier audits, change implementation and management and overseeing United Tissue Network’s quality systems. Rachel understands the need, and is striving to improve regulation in the field of non-transplant tissue banking. She ensures the organization’s compliance with standards and regulations of the AATB.

Daniel Hernandez Client Services Manger

Daniel Hernandez serves as the Client Services Manager at United Tissue Network. He comes to us with over 10 years of experience working in the Biotechnology and tissue banking industry. He has strong operational skills in project management and laboratory operations. Daniel is familiar with all industry standards and procedures set forth in the AATB regulations. He is also experienced in client communications, logistics, and strategic planning.

In his current role, Daniel is responsible for the implementation of goals and objectives of the Client Services Department. He oversees all functions of the department, including client communications, quoting, allocation, shipping, logistics, quality system functions, and training. Daniel will work to establish procedures for all client services activities, so they may be cohesive across all United Tissue Network locations.

Brittani Mundo Donor Services Manager

Brittani Mundo Serves as the Donor Services Manager of United Tissue Network. She has earned a Master in Management from the University of Phoenix. She has over 10 years of management experience with emphasis on process improvement and best practices implementation.

In her current role, Brittani manages the donor services department at United Tissue Network. She is in charge of project management and implementing the goals and objectives of the department. She oversees all the functions of the donor services department including donor communication and development, and quality system functions. She also oversees all outreach events that involve UTN. She ensures the organization’s compliance with AATB standards and regulations.

Brittani will work to establish procedures for all donor services activities, so they may be cohesive across all United Tissue Network locations.
