Mavis Larson
11/10/1932 – 04/12/2025
Mavis Larson passed away peacefully in her room at The Inn, an assisted living community in Tucson, Arizona.
Thank you all for being her sister, her mom, her family and her friends.
She had a fantastic life starting as a child at a small farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to various homes from coast to coast before settling in the Tucson area the last 24 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Larson and is survived by her children, Don, Richard and Linda, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
In her 92 years on this world she saw fantastic things and lived exciting experiences.
When asked what her epitaph should be she said “I tried”
I think most of us can relate to that, we all try, some win, some lose, some give, some take. Mavis was a giver and in the long run a winner
She provided an example of how we can and should be.
She will be missed, thank you all for your condolences and kind words and thoughts.
