Karen
01/03/1957 – 04/02/2025
Karen is the first out of 7 siblings to pass away. She was well loved by her family and many, many friends. She was also known and loved by the biker community.
Karen was a special lady, one of a kind. She stood up for what she believed in and she didn’t take shit from anyone. No matter male or female, and no matter what size they were. She was blunt, with no filter, and no sugar coating. If she hurt your feelings by being honest, she’d say “get over it”, or “suck it up”. She had a heart of gold and would give you her shirt off of her back if you needed it, along with her last dollar. A helping hand always and never asking for anything in return. She loved her family, she loved her friends, and she loved her biker community. If she told you that she loved you she meant it straight from the heart. If she called you a sister or a brother, she meant it straight from the heart… words that she wouldn’t throw around and use unmeaningfully. She was stubborn and feisty in her old ways. She didn’t ask for much from anybody but to be respected and for those who knew her to have patients with her, as she couldn’t hear well, so what sounded like yelling to others, was just a normal tone for her. she said “what” a lot or she would say, “what did you just say to me” some would make fun of her disability but she wouldn’t let that stop her from being a social butterfly.
She wasn’t just my mother, she my best friend. We had a mother/daughter relationship, a bond that other women wished they had with their mom.
I miss her tremendously already. She’s now a beautiful angel, watching over us all … I love you too the moon and back times infinity and beyond always, for all eternity mom.
