Thomas E Dombrowski
01/10/1942 – 01/08/2025
Tom and I met in March 1969 in Buffalo NY. We moved to Tucson AZ in April of 1995. We were together from October 1969 until January 8 of 2025, when he passed away.
He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He always tried to see the best in people, and lend everyone a helping hand,
Tom was a heavy equipment mechanic, and contractor. After he retired in 2004, he went into business with me, manufacturing swimwear and dancewear. We loved working together, it was always fun, and very productive.
Whatever field he was in, his customers loved him. He worked hard at making them happy and they appreciated it.
Tom’s son Tommy Jr followed in his footsteps as a heavy equipment mechanic, and contractor, he also builds race cars. Tom was very proud of him.
Tom lived a good life, he accomplished a lot and always tried to do the right thing.. He was strong, kind and thoughtful. He fought for what he loved and what he believed in, I miss him every day.
When Tom’s health was failing, we started discussing plans for end of life. He wanted his death to mean something, and to. help people with similar health problems. We looked at many options but we both liked UTN. The fact that UTN is a non profit, and that your donors benefit doctors research directly, were both major factors in his decision.
After speaking with many of the staff at UTN and doing a little reasearch, I requested and signed a pledge to become a donor. When the time comes, I feel that my donation can help doctors extend their knowledge. Perhaps they will find new treatments to help people live better lives. I know this is what Tom wanted. He lived a good, happy life, and we both felt that this donation would be a part of his legacy. His was truly a lifewell lived.
