The Donor Services Associate is expected to assist with providing excellent customer service, building referral relationships, representing donor needs to the team, and encouraging new and repeat donations.


  • No experience is required, 2 years client/customer service/receptionist experience preferred

  • General administrative duties, understanding of fax, copy scan, file, MS Office, call routing, etc.
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries
  • Directs visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area and employees’ break room by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Provides basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receives, sorts and distributes daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintains office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook)
  • Works with inside and outside clients to establish relationships, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of general medical terms and procedures
  • Assists in donor communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on donor deliverables
  • Assists in reviewing all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and donor expectations are met
  • Understands company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client
  • Helps communicate the donor’s goals and represent the donor’s interests to the team
  • Assists with educating the hospice/healthcare community about United Tissue Network’s program
  • Assists with all phases of the donation process; demographic information, medical/social history, obtaining consent, hemodilution, return of cremated remains

Other possible Functions:

  • Primary point of contact to assist families through all phases of the donation process
  • DC/Transit permit processing
  • Medical Records request and processing
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships
  • Assist with Donor Services relationships including funeral home, hospice, OPO and other referral sources
  • Assist with accounts payable
  • Other duties as assigned
